Gianna Seitzer, LMHCCounselor Education & Supervision Doctoral Candidate
Gianna Seitzer is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has been in practice since 2019. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and will be providing clinical supervision to counseling students as well as post-graduate clinicians working toward licensure.
Gianna’s clinical focus is working with children and adolescents who are navigating emotional and behavioral challenges, often related to anxiety, depression, school difficulties, family stress, or significant life changes. Many of the children she works with may struggle to put their feelings into words but know something does not feel quite right. She also values working collaboratively with caregivers who are seeking guidance, understanding, and effective ways to support their child’s growth and well-being.
Gianna helps children, adolescents, and individuals of all ages develop healthier ways to express emotions, manage anxiety and behavioral concerns, build confidence, and strengthen relationships. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based therapy, reality therapy, and choice theory to create a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment. Her work is grounded in collaboration, empathy, and client-centered care, with a focus on fostering self-discovery, resilience, and lasting positive change.
